It seems as if teachers today could possibly be slightly worried about not knowing what students do when it comes to technology. As a young educator, I want to use technology and do often. Using technology helps to make that possible. Since I have had an interactive board in my classroom, I have found new, exciting ways to teach my skills. I definitely think we have room to grow when it comes to technology integration in the schools, however I feel very blessed to have the technology that I do have. How will we as humans be different than Data, the droid on Star Trek? Perhaps we should be introducing philosophy as curricular content to the high school, or even younger? Technology can help our society reach our goals, but only if, as a society, we know what those goals are. As a global community, how do we determine our destiny?
